Caught in the web-Miramar Lake, San Diego, CA Early on a September morning. This photo was taken early on a foggy morning, when the dew was not evaporated yet. The spider in the upper right corner of the picture was dead, which is why I got so close : ). A flower bud is caught in the web at the upper left corner. Lake miramar (San Diego) is in the background. Nothing was set up: this is how I found it and how I left it. I have a few more shots but this one is my favorite. Any comments are welcome. 

New Year… No Resolutions…

Inevitably friends, coworkers and other random people will be asking me about my new year's resolutions and I will have to answer that I don't have any. At this thought, I am tempted to make up some…
As a friend of mine put it, one can not help but reflect at this time of the year, but it seems that in the US in particular, new year resolutions formulated and preferably written down are a must and you are frowned upon if you don't have any. Well, I don't have any and with that, I will have more accomplishments on my list this year than most people with a cookie-cutter list of resolutions for the coming year.
